A custom-automation and systems-integration company in Michigan is hiring a Senior Automation Engineer to design, program, and commission automated systems and support projects from concept through validation. On-site in Michigan, relocation available.
What you will do
- Design and program automation systems, including PLC and HMI development
- Support machine build, de-bug, power-up, and validation
- Collaborate across mechanical, controls, and project teams
- Help ensure projects meet scope, timeline, and budget
What you bring
- Experience in industrial automation or controls engineering
- Proficiency with PLC and HMI platforms and electrical design
- Strong problem-solving and the ability to mentor junior engineers
